Chocolate Jesus 702

Strange Electronic Music Pulsing out of Downtown Las Vegas

Chocolate Jesus 702 is an experimental electronic trio from Las Vegas, Nevada.
Heavy basslines pair with pounding drum beats reminiscent of 90s raves, layers of washed out and distorted record samples dance between synthesizers and keyboards,
the Chocolate Jesus instrumental sound alone is enough to rave over. Sprinkle in two vocalists, wild stage antics, and a blend of music that defies genre, and you have the sound experience that is Chocolate Jesus 702.

The band started out in February of 2017 originally just as a jam session recorded by the three into Audacity, then uploaded to Soundcloud, but later deleted.
Since then, the band has played all over Las Vegas opening up for experimental and punk bands such as Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Empath, Ryosuke Kiyasu, and many more.
They have played shows in San Diego and Slab City, done a Nevada tour playing several cities and towns in Nevada, toured the Pacific Northwest in 2019,
and most recently did a SXSW 2022 tour hitting several cities in the American Southwest, and headlined the Yeast By Sweat Beast Fest in Austin, Texas.

In July of 2021 the band put out a self released 4 track EP titled Billy Chonkla and the Chonkla Factory.
They also have a few EPs and jam sessions on Soundcloud, as well as several hours of unreleased material.
They are currently working on and recording their first full length album, releasing singles in the meantime, as well as preparing for their Spring 2023 Tour.
